The Philadelphia Eagles head to Tennessee in Week 2 looking to build on a narrow opening-week win, while the Titans are trying to shake off a disappointing home loss that left them with plenty to fix.
Tennessee opened the season with a 23-10 upset loss to the Jets as 1.5-point favorites. Philadelphia, on the other hand, survived a 24-22 battle with the Commanders and now gets a road test against a Titans team that struggled to generate much offense in Week 1.
Jalen Hurts wasn’t flawless against Washington, but he still found ways to move the Eagles. He completed 14 of 25 passes for 203 yards and three touchdowns, while adding 46 rushing yards on seven carries. One of those runs went for 22 yards, another reminder that he can create problems in multiple ways when the game opens up.
That’s part of why the Eagles look positioned to put pressure on Tennessee’s defense. The Jets just hung 23 points on the Titans, and Philadelphia has the kind of attack that can at least match that output. The bigger issue for Tennessee is whether it can answer after managing only 10 points at home in Week 1.
From a betting standpoint, this is the largest number I’d be willing to lay with Philadelphia in this matchup. The Titans didn’t show much last week, and the Eagles should be able to control this one on the road.

The Titans made their biggest defensive line move of the offseason by sending T'Vondre Sweat to the Jets for Jermaine Johnson II, banking on the former first-round pick to help stabilize the front under a new look.
