The Tennessee Titans are making waves this offseason, and it's clear they're not messing around. With new head coach Robert Saleh at the helm, the Titans are building serious momentum for the 2026 season. Their aggressive approach in free agency has sparked plenty of conversation, with some arguing that Tennessee has had the best offseason across the league.
With Saleh in charge and franchise quarterback Cam Ward gearing up for his second year, general manager Mike Borgonzi wasted no time in reshaping the roster. Borgonzi, following Saleh's defensive blueprint, brought in a slew of players who fit the coach's mold.
This includes a reunion with several former Jets like Jermaine Johnson II, John Franklin-Myers, Solomon Thomas, and Jacob Martin. Adding veteran defensive tackle Jordan Elliott, who played under Saleh in San Francisco, and securing starting corners Cor'Dale Flott and Alontae Taylor, further fortifies the defense.
On the offensive side, Borgonzi zeroed in on the Titans' weaknesses. He snagged Wan'Dale Robinson, fresh off a standout season with the Giants, to be Ward's go-to slot receiver.
Tight end Daniel Bellinger, also from the Giants, steps in to replace Chig Okonkwo. To bolster the offensive line, Cordell Volson and Austin Schlottmann were brought in, addressing crucial gaps.
While the Titans are still a work in progress, the addition of an explosive receiver was a priority that’s now been checked off the list. Borgonzi has given Saleh the defensive tools he needs to implement his vision, and there's still room to maneuver. With the draft on the horizon and some salary cap space left, Tennessee is in a promising position as they look to continue building a contender.
