Rueben Bain Jr. Stuns Titans With Impressive Combine Interview Performance

Rueben Bain Jr. shines both on and off the field, impressing the Tennessee Titans during a pivotal NFL Scouting Combine interview.

Miami's defensive powerhouse, Rueben Bain Jr., left quite the impression at the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine, especially in his meeting with the Tennessee Titans. Projected as a top-five pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, Bain Jr. showcased his skills last season with 9.5 sacks and 15.5 tackles for loss. His defensive prowess also included an interception, a forced fumble, and a pass defended, making him a standout for the Hurricanes.

Titans coach Robert Saleh couldn't help but express his admiration for Bain Jr.'s on-field performance, a sentiment he shared at the combine on Tuesday. The following day, Bain Jr. took to the podium, reflecting on his interview with Tennessee, which he felt went exceptionally well.

In a conversation with Titans beat reporter Jim Wyatt, Bain Jr. shared, "The interaction with the Titans was great. We had a formal interview, and we killed it. We approached everything with the right mindset."

Adding to the support, Titans quarterback Cam Ward, who played alongside Bain Jr. at Miami in 2024, offered words of encouragement. The Titans, holding the No. 4 overall pick in the draft, could very well have Bain Jr. on their radar as they prepare for their first selection on draft day. His potential fit with Tennessee is certainly something to watch as the draft approaches.
