Robert Saleh Stuns Fans With Bold Comment About His Wife On Live TV

Titans head coach Robert Saleh's lighthearted remark about his wife on live TV hints at his refreshingly candid approach as he embarks on a new journey with Tennessee.

Tennessee Titans head coach Robert Saleh shared a lighthearted moment on “The Pat McAfee Show” that had fans chuckling. Known for his successful tenure as the San Francisco 49ers’ defensive coordinator, Saleh recently took the reins in Tennessee after Brian Callahan was let go following a tough 1-5 start. Mike McCoy stepped in as interim head coach to finish the season.

During the interview, Saleh opened up about his family life, revealing he and his wife, Sanaa, have eight children. When asked if they plan to expand their family, Saleh quipped, “She gets me when I’m sleeping,” with a smile, drawing laughter from the audience. If they do decide to have more kids, they might just catch up to Philip Rivers and his wife, Tiffany, who have ten children.

Saleh’s coaching journey has been eventful. He was hired as the New York Jets’ head coach in 2021 but was unexpectedly dismissed after a 2-3 start in the 2024 season. The team struggled even more under interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich, who managed just three wins in twelve games.

The challenges in New York weren’t entirely on Saleh. The franchise has faced ongoing issues under owner Woody Johnson, and the new leadership of Darren Mougey and Aaron Glenn didn’t fare much better last year.

Now, Saleh has a fresh opportunity with the Titans. Although the roster has its gaps, he has some promising talent to build around, including quarterback Cam Ward, offensive lineman Peter Skoronski, and defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons. With significant cap space available, the Titans are well-positioned to revamp the team under Saleh’s guidance.
