Calvin Ridley is set to showcase his skills in the Titans' fresh new uniforms this season. According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Media, Ridley has agreed to a revised contract, ensuring his stay with the team. While the specifics of the new deal are under wraps, it’s likely that a roster bonus due this weekend plays a key role in the arrangement.
Originally, Ridley was looking at a hefty cap number of $26.45 million, with a base salary of $20.24 million. This adjustment should provide some flexibility for both Ridley and the Titans.
Ridley initially inked a four-year contract with Tennessee before the 2024 season kicked off. He made an immediate impact, playing every game and racking up 64 receptions for 1,017 yards and four touchdowns. Unfortunately, his 2025 campaign was cut short by a fractured fibula after just seven games, during which he managed 17 catches for 303 yards.
The Titans have bolstered their receiving corps by signing Wan’Dale Robinson this week. Robinson will join Ridley alongside Elic Ayomanor, Chimere Dike, Mason Kinsey, and Bryce Oliver, creating a dynamic and competitive receiver room. Fans should be excited to see how this group develops as they aim to make a significant impact on the field this season.
