Former TCU star Olivia Miles has turned a huge rookie season into another major milestone, and she’s not going into the WNBA All-Star Game alone.
Miles was one of three DFW-connected players named Thursday among the 10 starters for the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game, joining Dallas Wings star Paige Bueckers and teammate Jessica Shepard. Miles was the lone rookie in the group, and the selection gives the region three of the league’s starting spots.
The former Horned Frogs guard has powered the Lynx to the best record in the WNBA at 15-4, doing it without Napheesa Collier, who has been sidelined by injury. Miles has averaged 18.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 5.7 assists while stepping into a leading role in Minnesota. She also arrived in the league with plenty of momentum after guiding TCU to its second straight Elite Eight in March in her only season with the program.
Bueckers, who won Rookie of the Year last season, picked up her second straight All-Star starting nod. She’s been even better in her sophomore year, putting up 19.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game while helping the Wings to an 11-8 mark. That already tops Dallas’ 10 wins from 2025.
Miles and Bueckers were the top two vote getters among guards. Fans made up 50% of the vote, with media and players each accounting for 25%.
The other starting guards are the Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell. Wings rookie and No. 1 overall draft pick Azzi Fudd finished 10th among guards. She drew strong support from fans, where she ranked fourth, but landed 15th in media voting and 28th with players.
Miles finished fifth in fan voting, first with the media and third with players. Bueckers was first with fans and players and second with the media.
Shepard earned her spot in the frontcourt after becoming the Wings’ biggest offseason signing. She’s posting career highs across the board with 14.3 points, 11.5 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game.
The other frontcourt starters are the Las Vegas Aces’ A’Ja Wilson, the New York Liberty’s Breanna Stewart, the Fever’s Aliyah Boston, the Golden State Valkyries’ Gabby Williams and the Lynx’s Natasha Howard.
The 2026 WNBA All-Star Game is set for 7:30 p.m. July 25 at Chicago’s United Center.
