Denton Guyer's standout defensive lineman, Darrien Neal, is set to make an official visit to TCU from May 29-31. This weekend is shaping up to be a pivotal moment for the Horned Frogs' recruiting efforts.
Alongside Neal, TCU will also host other top defensive prospects like Drake Carroll, Bryce Breeden, Rontrae Carter, and James Roberson. Adding to the recruiting push, current TCU commit Brice McCurdy will be present to help sway uncommitted players.
Neal is no stranger to TCU, having visited several times, with his most recent trip being for a Top Target Day in early February. The 6-foot-2, 275-pound defensive force is drawing attention from several programs, boasting offers from Mississippi State, Arizona, Colorado, SMU, and TCU, among others.
In his junior year in 2025, Neal made a significant impact on the field with 54 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, two sacks, and six quarterback hurries. As TCU builds its 2027 class, they currently have one commitment, making Neal's visit and potential decision all the more crucial for their recruiting trajectory.
