The Syracuse Crunch are bringing back their annual Welcome to Town event on Monday, Oct. 5, and this year’s edition will be held at Turning Stone Resort Casino from 6 to 8 p.m. in the atrium of the Exit 33 complex.
The free event is open to the public and gives fans a first look at the 2026-27 Crunch team. Players and coaches will be on hand to meet with fans, sign posters and take photos. The night will also include music, a cash bar, and door prizes and giveaways from Turning Stone Resort Casino and the Syracuse Crunch.
There’s more built into the evening than just fan access. Welcome to Town will also be the first chance for season ticket holders to pick up their 2026-27 gift, and for those who chose printed tickets to collect their season ticket booklets. Single game tickets will also be available for purchase.
Turning Stone, the Oneida Indian Nation’s resort in Upstate New York, sits 30 miles east of Syracuse at NYS Thruway exit 33. The property features four hotels, two spas, five golf courses, more than 26 dining options, a 125,000 square foot Las Vegas-style gaming floor, TS Sports, The Showroom, a 5,000-seat arena and several nightlife venues, including NY Rec & Social Club.
The resort was named the #1 Best Gaming Resort in New York by Casino Player Magazine and the #1 Best Overall Dining in 2026. Single game tickets and ticket packages for the 2026-27 season are already on sale. Fans can buy them at the Crunch office inside the Upstate Medical University Arena at Onondaga County War Memorial at 800 S. State St. in Syracuse, by calling 315-473-4444 or through Ticketmaster online.

The 23-year-old forward has produced 99 points in 134 games for Syracuse, and his game has grown into the kind of depth profile Tampa Bay likes to develop internally, with enough skill to matter and enough pace to fit a lower-line assignment.
The next step, though, still depends on how the Lightning sort out their roster and how Duke continues to look in camp and early-season competition. He is a strong candidate to earn a bottom-six job in Tampa Bay, but there remains a real path where he opens the year back in Syracuse while the organization decides how quickly it wants to bring him along.
