Brooks, standing at 5-foot-11 and weighing 190 pounds, has already committed verbally to Syracuse earlier this year. His decision to visit underscores the strong recruiting efforts by the Syracuse coaching staff, particularly at a powerhouse like Saint Frances, which is known for its formidable football program.
Brooks ranks within the top 450 nationally for the 2027 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. His team, Saint Frances, ended last season with a 9-1 record, securing the No. 2 spot nationwide per MaxPreps. This visit is a significant step in solidifying his future with Syracuse.
Another key recruit, Tyler Alexander, a 2027 three-star defensive tackle from Florida, is also on Syracuse's radar. Alexander, who holds a scholarship offer from the Orange, has lined up several spring visits, including a stop at Syracuse on March 28. At 6-foot-4 and 310 pounds, Alexander is a sought-after talent with an impressive list of potential suitors, including Florida, Texas, Georgia, Texas A&M, Notre Dame, and Ohio State.
Alexander received his second Division I offer from Syracuse back in February 2025, marking a pivotal moment in his recruitment journey. Currently, he is ranked No. 752 overall in the 2027 class by Rivals, with a position ranking of No. 79 among defensive linemen and No. 86 in Florida. As a junior at Palm Beach Central High School, Alexander's performance continues to attract attention, with his school finishing the 2025 season with a 6-5 record.
