Stanford, Calif. - Stanford football has made a significant addition to their coaching staff by bringing on Cory Robinson as the new Cornerbacks Coach and Defensive Passing Game Coordinator. Announced by Bradford M. Freeman Director of Football Tavita Pritchard, Robinson joins with a rich background spanning 17 years across both NFL and collegiate levels.

Robinson's recent stint was with Boston College, where he returned to the college scene after a year in the NFL. During his time with the Eagles, he played a pivotal role in the development of junior defensive back KP Price, who earned Second Team All-ACC honors. Price led the team with 94 tackles and was a standout in solo tackles, ranking third in FBS.
Before Boston College, Robinson was with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2024, teaming up with Kris Richard, the current Willie Shaw Director of Defense & Defensive Backs Coach at Stanford. His NFL experience includes a successful tenure with the New Orleans Saints from 2020 to 2022, where he contributed to a top-tier defense that ranked second in passing defense in 2022.
During this period, Robinson worked with Pro-Bowl talents like Marshon Lattimore and J.T. Gray.
Robinson's collegiate coaching journey has seen him at Maryland, Rutgers, Temple, and Toledo, honing his skills and building a reputation for developing strong defensive units.
Originally from Baltimore, Robinson's coaching career began at the high school level, and he played college football at Central Connecticut State. Alongside his coaching credentials, Robinson holds a degree in communications with a business/marketing minor.
Robinson, his wife Candy, and their three sons, Denali, Royal, and Legend, are excited to join the Stanford community, eager to contribute both on and off the field.
