The ACC’s 2027 football schedule grid is set, and Stanford now knows the shape of its conference slate for that season.
For the second straight year, the Cardinal will play nine ACC games as the league keeps moving toward a nine-game model. This time, the breakdown tilts a little differently: Stanford will have five conference home games in 2027 after playing five road games in 2026.
That home slate brings several first-time visitors to The Farm for ACC play. Duke, North Carolina, Syracuse and Virginia will all make their first trips to Stanford in conference action. The 130th Big Game will also be played at Stanford Stadium, giving the Cardinal a chance to string together consecutive home wins in the rivalry for the first time since 2011-17, when Stanford won four straight.
On the road, Stanford’s 2027 ACC schedule includes four conference games. Two of those are familiar trips, with the Cardinal heading back to SMU and Clemson after already visiting both programs as ACC members. Stanford’s other league road games will come at Boston College and Florida State.
Clemson stands alone in the ACC in 2027 as the only team scheduled for eight conference games, the first season in which just one league team will play eight. That setup means the Tigers must add two Power Four opponents to meet the requirement of 10 Power Four games.
Before that 2027 slate arrives, Stanford is on the road this week at Duke. The Cardinal then return home to Stanford Stadium for a Sept. 26 matchup with Georgia Tech.
That game is set for 7:30 p.m. PT and will air nationally on ESPN.
