Michael Wilson’s late heroics headlined a busy Week 8 for Stanford alums in the NFL, but he was far from the only former Cardinal making noise.
Wilson powered Arizona’s wild 33-30 overtime win over Dallas, finishing with eight catches on a team-high 15 targets for 111 yards. That was a season best for him in receiving yards, and his biggest moment came with six seconds left in regulation when he hauled in a 13-yard touchdown to tie the game and force overtime. It was his second touchdown of the year and the 16th of his NFL career.
Elsewhere in that Cardinals-Cowboys thriller, Elijah Higgins was targeted four times and caught two passes for 10 yards, while Simi Fehoko grabbed his first reception as a Cardinal, a 17-yard catch. Fehoko had not caught a pass in a regular-season game since 2024 with the Chargers, and the grab was the 11th reception of his career.
In Tennessee’s 43-36 overtime loss to Cincinnati, Elic Ayomanor was part of a busy passing attack, playing 50 snaps at wide receiver and catching three passes for 34 yards as Cam Ward topped 300 passing yards for the first time this season. Solomon Thomas also had a notable day for the Titans, making his first start with the team and logging 51 snaps with one tackle and three quarterback pressures.
Bobby Okereke helped Carolina in a losing effort against Green Bay, starting and playing every defensive snap in the Panthers’ 27-19 defeat. He finished with five tackles, including three solo stops, and recovered a second-quarter fumble for his first fumble recovery of the season and ninth of his career.
That turnover also pushed his season total to three, with two fumble recoveries and one interception. Brycen Tremayne saw 19 offensive snaps at wide receiver for Carolina and caught his lone target for 11 yards.
Thomas Booker returned to the Raiders’ defensive line after missing one game and contributed two tackles, including one solo tackle, on 29 snaps in Las Vegas’ 38-33 win over the Jets. On the other side, Harrison Phillips started at defensive tackle for New York and played 38 snaps, finishing with two tackles and one solo tackle.
Weather turned Tampa Bay’s 16-0 win over Atlanta into a slog, but Jake Bailey still managed a strong punting day in the rain. He punted four times for a 48.3-yard average, with a long of 55 yards. Austin Hooper was barely involved in the Falcons’ offense, seeing just seven snaps in a game that featured only eight completed passes as the heavy rain made throwing difficult.
Walker Little was steady in Jacksonville’s 42-7 rout of Indianapolis, starting at left tackle and not allowing a pressure all game. Per PFF, he finished as the ninth-highest graded pass-blocking tackle in Week 8 with an 83.5.
Joshua Karty was back with the Rams after being re-signed earlier in the week and activated before the game. In Los Angeles’ 24-9 win over the Chargers, he handled kickoff duties and kicked off five times. Kendall Williamson logged 18 special teams snaps for the Chargers and recorded two tackles, his first game this season with multiple special teams tackles.

The bigger picture for Stanford followers is how often the Cardinal pipeline still shows up on Sundays, even in different uniforms and very different situations.
