South Carolina is back at Williams-Brice Stadium on Saturday, and the Gamecocks are setting the table for a busy Homecoming weekend against Texas A&M.
Kickoff is scheduled for 3:03 p.m. on ESPN after South Carolina’s road win over Oklahoma gave the program its third straight conference victory. The school also said it is expecting a large crowd and will open all gates at Williams-Brice two hours before kickoff.
Officials acknowledged that several issues contributed to delays entering the stadium for the Tennessee game and said they are working on further changes to improve the entry process and the overall fan experience. More information on those adjustments is expected by midweek.
Homecoming festivities will be part of the day’s backdrop, with alumni from around the country returning to Columbia.
For fans looking to make a full day of it, Gamecock Village presented by Farm Bureau Insurance opens at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. The schedule there includes partner activations, food trucks and the team store presented by Rally House. The Donovan Twins are set to perform around 11:00 a.m.
Gamecock Walk is slated for about 12:55 p.m., with the team arriving and heading into the stadium led by Cocky, the drumline and the spirit teams. Fans are encouraged to line Tommy Suggs Garnet Way early. After that, the Pregame Pep Rally will take place at the Gamecock Park Amphitheater and will feature the Mighty Sound of the Southeast and the spirit teams.
At halftime, South Carolina will recognize the University of South Carolina Association of Lettermen’s Athletics Hall of Fame class of 2026. This year’s group is notable because it marks the first time entire teams will be inducted.
The class includes former Gamecock football coach Steve Spurrier, along with Sabrina D’Angelo, Tyasha Harris, Ingrid Martins, Savannah McCaskill, Tomas Peribonio and Bert Sorin. The 2010 and 2011 national champion baseball teams are also part of the class.
The school is also continuing its limited-edition YETI Rambler Tumbler release for home games this season. This week’s design will be announced Wednesday and made available through the Forever Garnet App.
Purchases are limited to four tumblers per person, and buyers must pick them up inside the stadium on game day. The tumblers cannot be brought back for future games.
Fans who are Gamecock Club members and logging into the app for the first time already have an account created; they can use the reset password option tied to their Gamecock Club email.
For those arriving early or making a weekend of it, South Carolina is also pointing fans to Friday options. Stadium tours are available in multiple time slots, the Gameday Store inside the Bignon Gameday Center will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the Gastro Pub in the Meredith Family 2001 Club will be open from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The school also directed fans to a set of game day resources covering stadium logistics, guest services, fan experiences, concessions, the gate identifier tool, digital ticketing and the Williams-Brice Reimagined project.

Kendal Briles Is Creating A South Carolina Question Fans Didn't Want
Kendal Briles has given South Carolina something it has been able to lean on this season, with the offense showing real life and a notable performance against Oklahoma helping fuel the optimism around the program. For a team still trying to stack wins and keep its bowl hopes in reach, having an offensive coordinator who has brought clear direction has mattered, and it has made Briles one of the more important figures on Shane Beamers staff.
Naturally, that kind of impact tends to attract attention from elsewhere, and it is the sort of development Gamecock fans would rather not have to think about in November. Beamer and Briles have both kept the message centered on the present, with the focus staying on South Carolinas current push and Briles continuing to handle his responsibilities in Columbia while the season plays out. Gamecocks Get An Early Chance To Set The Tone At Home
South Carolina mens basketball gets its season started at home Tuesday night, opening against Stetson at Colonial Life Arena with tipoff set for 7 p.m. It is a chance for the Gamecocks to settle in early in front of their own crowd after a preseason that included wins over Wake Forest and Campbell, a useful start as they begin to build momentum for the year ahead.
Stetson comes in with its own opening-night test, having already drawn Clemson in its season opener and coming off an exhibition loss to Florida. For South Carolina, the first night is about more than just getting a result on the board - it is an early opportunity to establish the tone at home before the schedule starts asking more of them. South Carolinas USC Test Just Got A Lot More Dangerous
JuJu Watkins return to competitive play after 588 days gave USC exactly the kind of jolt it needed against UNLV, with the guard putting up 21 points in her first game back. It was also the kind of night that reminded everyone how much firepower the Trojans can have when Watkins is on the floor, even as coach Lindsay Gottlieb keeps her on a minutes restriction while she works her way back into game shape.
Saniyah Hall made sure the debut had plenty of support, too. The five-star freshman announced herself with 22 points and a team-high seven rebounds, giving USC another dynamic option and adding a fresh layer of danger to a roster that already looked formidable with Watkins back in the mix.
