In Gainesville, the Florida Gators showcased their dominance with a convincing 76-62 victory over South Carolina, marking their sixth consecutive win. Alex Condon was a force on the court, delivering 20 points and pulling down 10 rebounds.

Not to be outdone, Rueben Chinyelu recorded his 16th double-double of the season with 15 points and an impressive 17 rebounds. This victory elevates Florida to a strong 20-6 overall and 11-2 in SEC play.

The Gamecocks, struggling with a 2-11 record in the SEC, managed to keep it close in the first half, narrowing the gap to six points. However, Florida's quick response pushed their lead to 39-29 by halftime. Despite South Carolina's efforts to cut the deficit to nine early in the second half, the Gators' relentless play extended their lead to 16, securing a comfortable win.

Thomas Haugh contributed with 10 points, adding depth to the Gators’ offensive efforts. Florida's dominance on the boards was a key factor, as they out-rebounded South Carolina 47-30, leading to 27 second-chance points.

For the Gamecocks, Meechie Johnson was the standout performer, scoring 22 points and going a perfect 9-for-9 from the free-throw line. This marks his ninth 20-point game of the season and extends his streak of double-figure scoring to 12 games. Elijah Strong chipped in with 10 points, while Mike Sharavjamts led the team in rebounds with six.
