Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 230 pounds, this young talent from Our Lady Good Counsel in Olney, Maryland, recently made a visit to the University of South Carolina, and it seems the Gamecocks left quite an impression.
Reflecting on his visit, Sweeney shared, "The SC visit went great. They definitely reminded me why I am so high on them."
His comments highlight the strong connection he feels with Coach Shane Beamer, who is renowned for being a players' coach. The entire coaching staff at South Carolina has done an admirable job of showcasing what makes their program special.
Sweeney is no stranger to the Gamecocks, having visited during the fall for their matchup against Vanderbilt.
