Clemsons Miami Test Will Show How Real This Tigers Surge Is

Catch the highly anticipated showdown between Clemson and Miami as these ACC rivals clash on Saturday night, with viewing and listening options that cater to fans nationwide.

Clemson’s meeting with No. 4 Miami is set for Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026, with kickoff at 7:30 p.m. from Memorial Stadium in Clemson. The game will be televised on ABC.

For viewers who want to stream it, the matchup will be available on ESPN.com or through the ESPN app, with a login or subscription required. On the radio side, the game will air on 98.5 FM in Charleston, with statewide affiliates listed elsewhere.

The Tigers enter at 3-1 overall and 2-0 in ACC play, riding a three-game winning streak since their 51-10 loss at No. 11 LSU on Sept.

  1. Tait Reynolds has started the last two games at quarterback, and Clemson has used those wins over North Carolina and Cal to settle into conference play.

Miami comes in unbeaten at 4-0 and 2-0 in the ACC after blasting Central Michigan 52-3 in Week 4. That result pushed the Hurricanes up two spots to No. 4 in the AP Top 25. They have topped 30 points in every game this season and have gone over 40 in three of them.

The Hurricanes’ offense is being driven by Duke transfer Darian Mensah and wide receiver Malachi Toney, and the numbers have been loud: Miami owns the nation’s highest average yards per game. Swinney didn’t hide his view of what Clemson is walking into.

“They may be the best team in the country,” Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said. “I've seen enough of them. We've seen that quarterback.”

The matchup also carries a little recent history. Clemson and Miami are tied 7-7 in the all-time series. Miami won the latest meeting, 28-20, in 2023 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla., ending Clemson’s four-game run in the series.

There’s one more wrinkle: Mensah knows this defense well. Last season at Duke, he threw for 361 yards and four touchdowns in a 46-45 win against Clemson.

Dylan Stewart Now Faces A Bigger South Carolina Question

Dylan Stewarts absence has become one of the more delicate storylines around South Carolina as Shane Beamer tries to balance accountability with the bigger picture for a young player the Gamecocks clearly need. Beamer said Stewart is suspended and not with the team, a status that leaves the program sorting through both the fallout from an in-game punch and the standards Beamer has made central to his approach.

The SEC later confirmed the contact as egregious, adding another layer to a situation that is no longer just about one moment on the field. For South Carolina, the question now is not only when Stewart returns, but whether he can earn back the trust and meet the programs expectations before Beamer decides his future involvement. Kentucky Faces An Early SEC Test That Could Reshape Its Ranking Push

South Carolinas SEC start has already put a little pressure on the season, with the Gamecocks dropping their first two conference games and now turning to a matchup at home against No. 24 Kentucky. LaNorris Sellers has had a rougher time in league play, and with the College Football Playoff picture still in view, this one carries a little extra weight for a team that cant afford many more stumbles in conference.

Kentucky arrives with a defense that has been strong by national standards, even as its offense has left some questions unanswered. Oddsmakers still see South Carolina as a 2.5-point favorite, a sign that the Gamecocks have a chance to steady things in a game that feels important well beyond one Saturday. [Read more 🡒]
