Seattle Seahawks Earn Top Marks in NFLPA Survey, But Who's Number One?

Seahawks Earn Top Marks in NFLPA Survey, Despite Field Concerns

The Seattle Seahawks, reigning Super Bowl champions, have earned high marks in the NFL Players Association’s annual survey on working conditions. Landing the fourth spot overall, the Seahawks trail only the Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, and Washington Commanders.

This comprehensive survey, conducted from November 2 to December 11, grades NFL franchises from A-plus to F-minus across 17 categories. It involves input from players who were on team rosters during the survey period.

Despite a recent grievance won by the NFL against the NFLPA, which aimed to prevent the publication of these player report cards, the findings have still emerged.

The Seahawks shone brightly, securing grades of A-plus, A, or A-minus in 14 of the 17 categories. However, areas such as the locker room, treatment of families, and home game field saw slightly lower marks, with B-pluses in the first two and an F for the field.

The F grade is likely due to Lumen Field’s artificial turf, a sticking point for many players who prefer natural grass. The Seahawks are among eight teams receiving an F or F-minus for their playing surface, while 19 teams scored a C-plus or worse in this category.

Here’s a detailed look at the Seahawks’ grades:
