Seahawks Tie Rams After Wild TD and Shocking Two-Point Review

A wild fourth-quarter surge capped by a controversial two-point conversion helped the Seahawks erase a 16-point deficit and stun the Rams late.

The Seahawks just pulled off one of the more improbable comebacks you’ll see this season - and they did it in a flash.

Down 30-14 with just over 13 minutes left in the fourth quarter, Seattle looked like a team on the ropes. But in a span of just over seven minutes, they flipped the script entirely, putting up two touchdowns and converting on both two-point attempts to tie the game at 30.

The latest strike came courtesy of Sam Darnold, who found rookie tight end AJ Barner on a 26-yard touchdown pass that cut the deficit to two. But the real chaos came on the two-point try.

Initially ruled incomplete - a pass breakup by the Rams - a closer look showed Darnold had actually thrown the ball backward. That made it a live ball, and Zach Charbonnet was in the right place at the right time, scooping it up and diving into the end zone.

Tie ballgame.

It was a wild turn of events, especially considering where things stood earlier in the quarter. Seattle’s momentum started to shift after a 58-yard punt return touchdown, a jolt of life that gave the Seahawks a much-needed spark.

Then came Rashid Shaheed, who followed it up with a 31-yard burst down to the Rams’ 26-yard line. One play later, Darnold and Barner connected for the score.

This wasn’t just a comeback - it was a statement. The Seahawks didn’t flinch when they were down 16 in the fourth. Instead, they put together a stretch of complementary football - special teams, explosive plays, and heads-up execution - that reminded everyone watching that this team still has fight.
