He spent two seasons there before landing a Bill Bidwill Fellowship with the Cardinals in 2022, a program designed to promote diversity and opportunity in NFL coaching staffs. That opportunity turned into a full-time gig in 2023, when Arizona promoted him to offensive quality control coach.
From there, his rise has been rapid. He became the Cardinals’ assistant quarterbacks coach in 2024 and was elevated again in 2025 to passing game coordinator - a critical role in today’s NFL, where aerial attacks are more sophisticated and central to offensive success than ever before. That kind of trajectory, especially in such a short timeframe, tends to get the attention of front offices looking for the next breakout coaching star.
