Topps Pristine Baseball is coming back into the hobby, and collectors won’t have to wait long to get their shot at the 2026 edition.
Pre-orders are set to open on the Topps website on Monday, July 20th at 12 PM EST. The boxes will be available through the EQL system, meaning collectors will enter a raffle and be notified if they’re selected.
Anyone who enters is agreeing to pay if chosen. Pricing has not been announced yet, though collectors should expect a slightly premium price.
The box setup is still not fully locked in, but one detail is already clear: each box should average three hits, made up of two autographs and one autographed relic.
As for the cards themselves, the early previews point to a product with plenty of eye appeal. The Monogram insert brings back the Topps Pristine logo in the background behind the player, with the player’s last name placed along the bottom. It’s a familiar design for the set, and one that should land well with collectors who like their inserts clean and flashy.
Timeless Connections looks like another standout. The insert uses a cartoon-type design and, based on the shared Ken Griffey Jr. card, leans hard into visual impact.
Griffey is shown at the finish of his signature swing, with the Seattle skyline behind him and an alternate jersey on. For Griffey collectors, it’s the kind of card that will draw attention fast.
The autograph checklist is expected to include both rookies and legends, and one of the early names confirmed is Chase Burns. His autograph appears on an RPA that features a large portion of the Reds logo, giving the card a strong patch look. Burns also recently signed an extension with the team, securing his spot in Cincinnati for years to come.
Dual Autographs are part of the mix as well, including a pairing that should stand out for Yankees collectors: Derek Jeter and Hideki Matsui.
With premium content, returning inserts, and a mix of rookie and legend ink, 2026 Topps Pristine Baseball is shaping up as one to watch when pre-orders open on July 20th.
