The outlet also pointed to the return of Fred Warner, Nick Bosa and George Kittle from season-ending injuries, plus a front office overhaul at wide receiver that included signing Mike Evans, drafting De’Zhaun Stribling and re-signing Deebo Samuel. Bleacher Report also highlighted the addition of Osa Odighizuwa as a way to strengthen the interior pass rush.
CBS Sports and FOX Sports both landed on No. 10, though they got there with slightly different angles. CBS called out the star power on the roster but made clear that availability is the whole story; if those players stay on the field, the 49ers can push for the division title. FOX noted that outside of the season-ending injury to Ricky Pearsall, the group looks close to complete for Week 1, calling San Francisco a provisional top-10 team while still warning to keep “the duct tape handy just in case.”

Yahoo! Sports placed the 49ers at No. 16 and focused on one quieter injury story from August: Bosa missing most of camp because of knee tendinitis after tearing his ACL last season. The outlet said the Rams present a big challenge in Australia, especially if Bosa and Kittle are limited.
