Rutgers women’s basketball will have five regular-season games on the Big Ten Network in 2026-27, with three of those national TV dates coming at Jersey Mike’s Arena.
The BTN run starts early for the Scarlet Knights. Their Big Ten opener against Ohio State is set for Saturday, Dec. 5 at noon, and it is the first of five nationally televised games for Rutgers. A few days later, Rutgers stays home for a nonconference meeting with Seton Hall on Tuesday, Dec. 8 at 6 p.m.
After the holiday break, the Scarlet Knights will get another home spotlight when USC visits Jersey Mike’s Arena on Monday, Jan. 11 at 7 p.m. Rutgers’ next BTN appearance comes on the road at Michigan on Sunday, Jan. 17 at 4 p.m.
The final national TV slot on the schedule lands on the last day of the regular season, when Rutgers goes to Maryland on Sunday, Feb. 28 for a noon tip.
Those five games are the only Rutgers women’s basketball matchups listed for BTN, and all five will air nationally on the network.
The full 2026-27 slate also includes an exhibition against Caldwell on Friday, Oct. 30, followed by early nonconference games against LIU, La Salle, Indiana State, Monmouth, Albany, UMES, Delaware State, Princeton, South Dakota State, Georgetown, Saint Peter’s, Coppin State and Lafayette.
Rutgers opens Big Ten play after that stretch, then moves into conference matchups that include Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Penn State, UCLA, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Northwestern, Minnesota, Purdue, Washington, Oregon and Nebraska before closing at Maryland.

Rutgers Is Building Something Fans Havent Seen In A Long Time
Rutgers 2027 recruiting push has put the program in territory it has not occupied in a long time, with the Scarlet Knights sitting at No. 3 nationally and atop the Big Ten, according to the 247Sports Composite. The class already features four-star prospects Brandon Woodard and RJ Moore, along with three-star guard Korey Francis, giving the staff a foundation that looks every bit like a major step forward for a program that has spent years trying to raise its ceiling.
The bigger question now is how Rutgers handles the rest of the board, especially with only one scholarship left for the 2027-28 season. A class this highly regarded brings both momentum and pressure, because the next move has to fit a carefully constructed group while keeping the program on the kind of upward path that turns recruiting buzz into something lasting. Rutgers Hits Bye Week With One Brutal Question Ahead
Rutgers heads into its bye week with the kind of 1-4 start that forces a hard reset, and the schedule waiting on the other side does not offer much comfort. The Scarlet Knights still have four road games left and only three at home, so the margin for error is gone quickly if they want any path back toward respectability. Between the losses already on the board and the stretch still to come, the season has reached the point where every week feels like a referendum on how much progress this group can actually make.
What makes the pause so tense is that the conversation is no longer just about cleaning up execution. Recent results have put the programs direction and coaching job security into the spotlight, and the remaining opponents only sharpen the pressure to show something better. Rutgers can still change the tone of the season, but it will have to do so while navigating a schedule that leaves little room for easing back in. [Read more 🡒]
Rutgers Fans Can Finally Map Out The Biggest Games Of 2026-27
Rutgers fans can already start circling the calendar for the 2026-27 mens basketball season after the Big Ten released the television networks and tip times. The Scarlet Knights will have a heavy presence across ESPN, BTN, FS1 and Peacock, and the conference slate again gives them a balanced path with 20 league games split evenly between home and away dates.
The broader lineup also adds a couple of notable destinations beyond the usual Big Ten grind. Rutgers is set for the Players Era Festival in Las Vegas and a meeting with Syracuse at Barclays Center, giving the season some early and midwinter intrigue before the league race really starts to sort itself out. For fans, the next step is less about where Rutgers will be seen and more about how those spotlight games might shape the year. [Read more 🡒]
