Rutgers men’s lacrosse is packing a lot into October, starting with homecoming weekend and rolling right into a month of fall scrimmages on campus.
The first big stop comes Friday, October 2, when the program stages its second annual Men’s Lacrosse Golf Outing. Registration opens at 10 am, with a shotgun start to follow and dinner later in the day. That same evening, Rutgers will host its annual Alumni Game at 6 pm on the F3 Turf Field, and alumni are invited to stick around afterward for a gathering at the Rodkin Center.
The homecoming stretch continues Saturday, October 3, when Rutgers football hosts Indiana at 8 pm at SHI Stadium. During that game, the men’s lacrosse program will hold its annual alumni event on the AD’s Party Deck. Registration is open for both the golf outing and the football game event, and alumni with questions are directed to Theresa Randise at trandise@scarletknights.com.
After homecoming weekend, the Scarlet Knights will turn to three fall exhibition matchups over the next four weeks. Rutgers hosts NJIT on October 10, Syracuse on October 24 and Delaware on October 30. The Syracuse scrimmage will be played at SHI Stadium, while the NJIT and Delaware contests are set for the F3 Turf Field.
All three scrimmages are open to the public and free to attend.
