Tennessee just landed one of the biggest recruiting flips in the 2027 cycle, and Rivals put the move right near the top of its list.
The Vols pulled Kesean Bowman away from Oregon, giving Josh Heupel and his staff another win on the trail. Bowman, a Brentwood Academy standout, is ranked as the No. 57 overall prospect in the nation by the 247Sports Composite. At 6-foot-1, he brings the kind of speed and burst that makes him a natural fit in Tennessee’s offense, and he has reportedly shut down his recruitment, which points to a firm commitment to the Vols.

There’s more depth behind them, too. Braylon Staley is only a redshirt sophomore and could still be around for another season, while Mike Matthews also has the potential to remain in Knoxville beyond this year.
