Pittsburgh Steelers' offensive lineman Spencer Anderson and his fiancée, Savanna, celebrated their love in a private wedding ceremony this past Saturday. The couple, who have been together since Anderson's college days at the University of Maryland, announced their engagement last July during the Steelers' training camp.
Anderson, a seventh-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, is gearing up for his fourth season with the Steelers. Last year, he saw the most significant action of his career, stepping up as the team's primary backup guard and jumbo tight end. His versatility was on full display as he logged 160 snaps as an extra offensive lineman and 193 snaps at left guard, filling in for the injured starter Isaac Seumalo.
With Seumalo moving on to the Arizona Cardinals in free agency, Anderson is now eyeing the starting job for the 2026 season. However, the competition is heating up, as the Steelers have brought in former Dallas Cowboys backup Brock Hoffman and might still look to the 2026 NFL Draft for additional options.
Standing tall at 6-foot-5 and weighing 305 pounds, Anderson hails from Bowie, Maryland. He attended Bishop McNamara High School in Forestville, Maryland, before making his mark in the NFL.
Over three seasons, Anderson has appeared in 42 games and started 11 times. As he enters this pivotal year, he's set to become a free agent at the end of the 2026 season, adding an extra layer of motivation to his quest for a starting role.
