Steelers' Michael Pittman Jr. Stuns Fans With Aaron Rodgers Revelation

Steelers newcomer Michael Pittman Jr. strikes a balance between respecting Aaron Rodgers' space and preparing to elevate the team's offense.

Michael Pittman recently shared an intriguing tidbit about his relationship with Aaron Rodgers since joining the Pittsburgh Steelers. After six productive seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, Pittman was traded to the Steelers in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round pick, along with a 2026 seventh-round pick.

Now set to join forces with Rodgers in Pittsburgh, Pittman revealed on the Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams that he hasn't yet spoken with the legendary quarterback. “I don’t know nothing.

I haven’t talked to Aaron,” Pittman admitted. “I’m trying to give him space because Aaron is a guy who likes his space.

He likes to get refreshed. Like, I didn’t want to just get signed and blow him up.”

Pittman added, “I think that he wants to play. Just knowing Aaron prior to this, I think that he’s going to try and play as long as he can.”

The addition of Pittman is set to significantly enhance the Steelers' offensive arsenal for the 2026 season. Teaming up with DK Metcalf, who led the receiving corps last year, Pittman is expected to form a dynamic duo. Should Rodgers decide to continue playing, Pittsburgh's offensive prospects look promising.

Pittman was a standout in the Colts' balanced attack, racking up 485 catches for 5,254 yards and 25 touchdowns over 95 career games. Last season alone, he notched 80 receptions for 784 yards and seven touchdowns, showcasing his explosive playmaking ability.

The Steelers wrapped up last season with a 10-7 record, clinching the AFC North Division title before falling to the Houston Texans in the AFC Wild Card round. With Mike Tomlin stepping down, new head coach Mike McCarthy will be steering the ship, aiming to elevate the team to new heights in this exciting new chapter.
