The Ravens have cast a wide net, reportedly showing interest in several prominent names: Robert Saleh, Mike McDaniel, Jesse Minter, and Klint Kubiak. And while all bring something unique to the table, there’s growing buzz around Kubiak as a particularly intriguing fit for Baltimore’s next chapter.
Kubiak, currently calling plays as the offensive coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks, has his team heading into the NFC Championship Game. That alone speaks volumes. But it’s what he’s done with Seattle’s offense that’s turning heads around the league-and possibly in the Ravens’ front office.
Under Kubiak’s guidance, the Seahawks transformed into one of the NFL’s most well-rounded and explosive offenses. That’s a massive leap from the year before, when they ranked 17th, 15th, and 28th in those same categories, respectively.
The turnaround hasn’t been just about raw numbers-it’s been about identity. Kubiak brought a balanced, adaptable philosophy that allowed the Seahawks to thrive in multiple ways.
He helped mold Sam Darnold into a top-10 quarterback, stabilized the run game with the one-two punch of Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet, and oversaw the breakout of Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who emerged as the league’s leading receiver in 2025. That kind of offensive evolution doesn’t happen by accident-it’s the mark of a coach who knows how to maximize talent and scheme to his players’ strengths.
Now imagine that approach in Baltimore.
Lamar Jackson remains one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in football. Derrick Henry, while no longer in his prime, still brings a bruising presence in the backfield.
Zay Flowers flashed star potential throughout the 2025 season. Pairing that trio with a coach like Kubiak-who’s proven he can build an offense that’s both explosive and efficient-could be exactly what the Ravens need to re-energize their attack.
It’s no secret that things felt off in Baltimore last season. The chemistry between Harbaugh and Jackson seemed strained, and the offense never quite found its rhythm.
Sometimes, even with a proven coach, the message just stops landing. That’s not a knock on Harbaugh-his résumé speaks for itself.
With a 193-124 record and a Super Bowl ring, he leaves behind a legacy that any coach would be proud of. But after nearly two decades at the helm, it’s understandable that the organization might be ready for a fresh start.
