Najee Harris Makes Key Visits In Comeback Push

Najee Harris seeks to revive his NFL career with potential opportunities at Seattle or Las Vegas, following his Achilles injury setback.

Najee Harris is on the move again, and he's not letting a torn Achilles define his story. The former Pittsburgh Steelers star running back is back in the spotlight, visiting multiple teams as he eyes a triumphant return to the NFL.

Ian Rapoport from NFL Network reports that Harris recently met with the Seattle Seahawks. With Kenneth Walker now a Kansas City Chief, the Seahawks are in need of a powerful presence in their backfield.

Harris, with his impressive track record, could be just the player to fill that void. Next up on his tour is a visit with the Las Vegas Raiders, who are also keen to bolster their running game.

Harris' journey began when he was picked 24th overall by the Steelers in the 2021 NFL Draft. He quickly made a name for himself, earning a Pro Bowl nod in his rookie year and consistently delivering 1,000-yard rushing seasons for four straight years in Pittsburgh.

In 2025, Harris made a move to the Los Angeles Chargers, but his time there was cut short. A torn Achilles in Week 3 sidelined him, limiting his season to a mere 15 rushing attempts for 61 yards and three receptions for 25 yards.

The Seahawks might offer Harris the best shot at a starting role, especially with Walker's exit and Zach Charbonnet recovering from a torn ACL. However, whether Harris will be ready for the 2026 season opener is still up in the air. His determination and past performance suggest he's more than capable of making a strong comeback.
