While Joseph-Day adds depth and versatility, the Steelers still face the challenge of securing a true nose tackle. Benton and Joseph-Day can rotate to keep each other fresh, but a dedicated nose tackle could be the missing piece for Pittsburgh's defensive line.
D.J. Reader, a proven veteran, remains an option on the market.
If the Steelers opt not to pursue Reader, they might look to the upcoming NFL Draft to find a suitable candidate.
