Antonio Brown took aim at Joe Burrow after the Cincinnati Bengals came up short in a 30-27 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday in a Week 3 AFC North matchup.
Burrow had a late chance to either force a tie or pull off a comeback win in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter, but the drive ended when he fumbled after the Bengals moved near the Steelers’ 38-yard line. After the game, former Steelers receiver Antonio Brown shared a picture of actor Macaulay Culkin dressed as Burrow for Halloween in 2024.
Burrow still put up a strong stat line despite the costly turnover. He finished 28-of-37 for 282 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions, and he said the fumble came while he was trying to avoid taking a sack.
"Trying to take a shot at the end zone, trying not to take the sack, trying to get the ball out, (and I) fumbled it," Burrow said.
The loss also added to an ugly trend for Cincinnati. Sunday’s defeat dropped Burrow to 1-34 when the team is trailing in the final eight minutes of games.
After the Bengals’ first loss of the season, Burrow pointed to the need for more accountability across the roster.
“Guys got to take ownership of their roles, got to take ownership of themselves, and just be smart situational football players,” Burrow said.
Cincinnati’s defense had trouble slowing down Pittsburgh’s offense. Jaylen Warren led the ground game with 17 carries for 127 yards, while Aaron Rodgers threw for 292 yards and three touchdowns.

Steelers Finally Found An Offensive Spark But A Bigger Concern Remains
The Steelers got a much-needed offensive jolt in their Week 3 win over the Bengals, and for one afternoon at least, the unit looked more balanced than it had in the opening weeks. Jaylen Warren was a big part of that turnaround with a strong rushing performance, while some changes along the offensive line seemed to help the group find a better rhythm. It was the kind of showing Pittsburgh had been searching for, especially after an uneven start that had left plenty of questions about how quickly the offense could settle in.
Still, the bigger concern sits on the other side of the ball. Pittsburghs defense showed some vulnerabilities in the 30-27 win, and the absence of Joey Porter Jr. was hard to miss as Cincinnati found enough success to keep the game tight throughout. The Steelers can take comfort in finally seeing signs of life on offense, but they also know the next stretch will tell a lot about whether that improvement is sustainable if the defense remains a little less sure of itself.
