Bengals: Building Depth on the Defensive Line
The Cincinnati Bengals are focusing on the development of defensive end Shemar Stewart, who only saw action in eight games last season, recording a single sack. Head Coach Zac Taylor emphasized that Stewart's growth remains a priority, even with the addition of Boye Mafe to the roster.
Taylor assured fans that bringing in Mafe won't hinder Stewart's progress. "His development is a priority for us," Taylor stated.
"We’re doing everything we can to help him grow and play a major role. Signing Boye doesn’t change our high expectations for Shemar."
Taylor is confident about managing playing time among his defensive linemen, including Stewart, Mafe, and Myles Murphy. "Great playoff teams have deep defensive lines," Taylor explained.
"There are starters, but also guys playing 40-50 snaps a game. We’ve got the depth to handle different game scenarios, whether it’s in base defense or nickel.
There’s plenty of opportunity for everyone."
Ravens: Scouting New Talent
The Baltimore Ravens are actively scouting talent with a series of visits and workouts. Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion recently had a visit with the team. Arizona State offensive tackle Max Iheanachor is also on their radar, with a visit scheduled soon.
Navy defensive tackle Landon Robinson has a private workout lined up, while Elon punter Jeff Yurk already completed his. Vanderbilt tight end Eli Stowers had a formal interview at the Combine, indicating the Ravens' thorough approach to evaluating prospects.
Steelers: Rodgers' Decision Looms
As the 2026 NFL Draft nears, the future of quarterback Aaron Rodgers is still up in the air. Steelers Head Coach Mike McCarthy remains optimistic about Rodgers' return but acknowledges that the final decision rests with the quarterback.
"I’m confident," McCarthy shared. "But ultimately, it’s a personal decision. We’re in a good place, and I’ll keep talking with Aaron about his plans."
