Suns Activate Devin Booker and Jalen Green for Crucial 76ers Matchup

With key reinforcements returning just in time, the Suns look to regain momentum in a pivotal matchup against the 76ers.

Booker and Green Return to Suns Lineup Ahead of Key Clash with 76ers

PHOENIX - The Suns are getting a much-needed boost right before the All-Star break. Head coach Jordan Ott confirmed that both Devin Booker and Jalen Green will return to the lineup tonight as Phoenix hosts the Philadelphia 76ers. While there’s no hard cap on their minutes, the coaching staff will keep a close eye on their workload as they ease back into game action.

This is big for a Suns team that’s been treading water without its top backcourt duo. Booker has missed the last seven games after suffering an ankle injury against the Atlanta Hawks.

In that stretch, Phoenix went 3-4 and struggled to find consistency, especially on the offensive end. The four-time All-Star’s return should inject some much-needed rhythm and scoring punch against a Philly team known for its defensive intensity and tempo.

Jalen Green’s absence, though shorter, was also felt. He missed the last three games, during which the Suns went 1-2.

That included a blowout loss to the Clippers and a collapse at home against the Warriors where Phoenix let a sizable lead slip away. Green’s athleticism and shot creation should help stabilize the second unit and take some pressure off Booker and Kevin Durant.

Ott now has his full backcourt rotation available heading into a critical three-game stretch before the All-Star break. With the Western Conference standings still tightly packed, these next few games are a golden opportunity for the Suns to build momentum and finish the first half of the season on a high note.

The timing couldn’t be better. The 76ers come in as one of the East’s toughest squads, and Phoenix will need all hands on deck to keep pace. With Booker and Green back in the fold, the Suns suddenly look a lot more dangerous-and a lot more like the team they envisioned when the season began.
