“This is me saying, LeBron, come back for one more year,” Brooks said. “You know what I'm saying? Come back for one more year, man… Stop all this waiting s***.”
When the conversation turned to the idea that he’s one of the biggest LeBron James haters around, Brooks didn’t back off.
“Oh, I'm top, I'm top for sure,” Brooks claimed when told he is the biggest LeBron hater.
Brooks has built a reputation for talking trash to just about anyone who isn’t on his team, but his edge seems to sharpen when James is the target. The two have faced off 21 times in their careers, with James averaging 23.6 points per game in those matchups, a touch below his 26.8 career average.
While James continues to sort through where he’ll play next season, Brooks is set to be back in Phoenix for the 2026-27 campaign. He put together one of his best seasons with the Suns, posting career highs with 20.2 points per game, along with 3.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 steals. He also shot 43.5% from the field and 34.4% from three.

Dillon Brooks Just Took The LeBron Feud Into Free Agency
Dillon Brooks is back in the middle of the LeBron James conversation, this time with a free-agency twist that keeps the old feud alive even as the NBA offseason starts to take shape. In a TikTok video, Brooks leaned into his role as one of James most persistent antagonists, framing himself as the top hater in a rivalry that has followed both players for years.
The timing makes the comment land a little harder, because James next move remains unsettled and the rumor mill has already connected him to more than one possible destination. Cleveland and Miami have both been floated as landing spots, but Brooks is clearly looking at the league landscape through his own lens, and he did not stop at just talking about the tension between them. Koa Peat has wasted no time giving Suns fans a reason to lean in during Summer League. The 30th overall pick has looked like one of Phoenixs most compelling young pieces, backing up his reputation with a recent outing that featured 19 points, six rebounds and two steals while showing the kind of physical, versatile game that made him such an intriguing prospect in the first place.
Chaisson Allen has already pointed to Peats toughness and adaptability as traits that show up right away, and that matters for a player who slid deeper in the draft than many expected. Peat has made it clear he is carrying plenty of motivation into this stretch, and with a couple of Summer League games still ahead, the Suns still have a chance to see how far that edge can carry him.
