The Nike Book 2 x McDonald’s collaboration is finally getting a price cut, and the general release pair has quietly become the one to watch.
Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker and Nike linked up with McDonald’s for a two-part sneaker release inspired by a rare spot in Sedona, deep in Red Rock Country. The idea drew from the turquoise arches there rather than the brand’s familiar golden ones, giving the project a distinct look that stood apart from the usual fast-food crossover.
The Friends & Family pair disappeared right away, with Booker on hand for the launch. The wider “Sedona” colorway, though, didn’t move nearly as fast. It dropped on June 2, 2026 with a retail price of $155 and is now listed at $119.99 at Foot Locker, which works out to 23% off.
Resale shoppers may be able to do even better. On StockX, the average resale price is currently $114, and some sizes are being listed below that. GOAT is also mentioned as another place to check.
The “Sedona” pair comes dressed in a Sanddrift upper with Dusty Cactus accents. Nike Swooshes run along the sides, McDonald’s branding shows up on the lateral heels and left tongues, and Booker’s name and image appear on the back heels and right tongues. The turquoise insoles carry the golden arches, and the shoes arrive in a McDonald’s-themed box that fits the concept cleanly.
Under the hood, the Book 2 is built for real basketball use. It features a forefoot Air Zoom unit, a full-length Cushlon 3.0 midsole for impact protection, and a top-loaded midfoot shank for torsional support. The traction pattern borrows from the Nike Air Force 1’s herringbone setup, but it’s tuned for today’s game.
That blend of performance and everyday wear is part of what makes the Book 2 stand out. It’s already regarded as one of the stronger basketball shoes out there, and fresh colorways like this McDonald’s release only add to the appeal.
Booker has been with Nike since entering the NBA in 2015, and in 2022 he signed a multi-year signature sneaker deal through 2029. The Michigan native and Kentucky Wildcats alum has consistently made room to recognize the communities that have backed him along the way.

Suns See One Big Opportunity In The West Nobody Expects
As the Suns get ready for their first preseason game of the 2026-27 season, there is a different kind of energy around the group than the one that followed them into last year. The win projections are lower this time, but the tone from the organization has been notably upbeat, with general manager Brian Gregory stressing the importance of daily work, team connection and the habits that can carry a group through the grind of a season.
Mat Ishbia has leaned into that optimism, too, saying he believes Phoenix is close to moving deeper into the playoffs and back into the kind of high-level contention the franchise is chasing. For a team trying to turn internal belief into a stronger finish, the real test now is whether that confidence shows up once the preseason turns into games that count. [Read more 🡒]
Ryan Dunn Just Got Dragged Into A Suns Debate Fans Feel Strongly
Ryan Dunn is already in the middle of a familiar Suns conversation this fall, the kind that comes with a young player whose value is easier to see on one end of the floor than the other. The team picked up his fourth-year contract option, and he came into training camp ready to fight for his spot, bringing the same defensive promise that made him interesting in the first place even as the shot has remained the part of his game that still needs work.
Now he has been pulled into a bigger public debate after NBA on Prime rolled out a new commercial for its upcoming coverage. The promo puts Dunn in a defensive role against elite scorers, a reminder of why the Suns still see reason to keep betting on him, but also of how sharply fans tend to split when a players upside is tied to one skill and his future depends on another.
