Devin Booker Stuns with 25 Points in Victory Over Raptors

Devin Booker silences critics with a commanding 25-point performance, reigniting the Suns' playoff hopes.

PHOENIX - Devin Booker silenced any doubters with a dazzling performance against the Toronto Raptors, shaking off a rough patch that had some fans concerned. Coming off a five-game losing streak where he shot just 44% from the field and 25% from three, Booker needed to step up-and he did just that.

After a solid 12-point first half, Booker lit up the third quarter, pouring in 13 points and propelling the Suns to a commanding victory.

Booker's Third Quarter Surge

Jalen Green set the tone early with his electrifying plays, but it was Booker who stole the show in the third. His offensive prowess was on full display as he effortlessly found his rhythm, whether it was hitting from the elbow, beyond the arc, or driving to the rim. Booker’s explosive and-one play extended the Suns' lead to 30 points, leaving Toronto scrambling for answers.

Green and Booker seemed to be in a friendly duel, showcasing their incredible finishing skills. Booker's performance not only thrilled the fans but also secured the Suns' largest lead of the night.

The third-quarter heroics allowed head coach Jordan Ott to rest Booker in the final quarter. Booker wrapped up the game with 25 points and six assists, shooting an impressive nine-of-15 from the field and three-of-six from downtown. This marked his second-best shooting night of March and only his second 60% shooting game since early January.

As Dillon Brooks gears up for his return, getting Booker back into peak form is crucial for the Suns, who are eyeing a playoff spot with just 10 games left in the season.

With the dynamic duo of Gillespie and Green also heating up, the Suns took a 66-48 lead into halftime, setting the stage for a dominant win over the Raptors.
