The Flyers’ newest look is here, and it leans hard into Philadelphia’s identity.
Unveiled on November 2, 2026 as part of the NHL/Fanatics league-wide Hometown Remix campaign, the club’s new hometown remix jersey is built around the Liberty Bell and the city’s place in the nation’s 250th anniversary. The design keeps the Flyers’ classic Flying P on the chest, but nearly every other detail folds in some version of the Bell.
The base color is “Liberty Gray,” making it the first gray jersey in franchise history. That comes with accents in “Declaration Parchment” and traditional Burnt Orange. The numbers carry a crack detail meant to mirror the Liberty Bell’s famous split, while the sleeves feature six stripes that echo the Bell’s design and also nod to the Flyers’ 60th anniversary.
There’s more woven into the details. Between the sleeve stripes is a tone-on-tone UV stamp of the Bell’s inscription: “Proclaim Liberty Throughout All The Land Unto All The Inhabitants Thereof.” The chest crest remains the familiar logo every Flyers jersey has worn, but it includes raised lines intended to mimic the Bell’s casting.
The rest of the uniform follows the same theme. A Constitution wordmark sits inside the neck collar, the helmets are matte with a Liberty Bell decal, and the hem includes U.S. Constitution script framing the Liberty Bell and the date of Independence.
The jerseys are set to debut on the ice November 3, 2026 against the Minnesota Wild, and the Flyers will wear them multiple times this season. They’re available through official team and Fanatics channels.

Flyers New Alternate Look Leans Hard Into Philadelphia Pride
The Flyers are adding another layer to their look this season with a new alternate uniform built around Philadelphias identity. The club unveiled the Independence Edition, a gray-based jersey inspired by the Liberty Bell and the citys place in American history, giving fans a fresh design that ties the team even more tightly to its home base.
The sweater will show up in select games beginning Nov. 3, and it is already available for fans to buy online and at team stores. For a franchise that has long leaned into its Philly roots, the new alternate is less about a simple wardrobe change and more about turning that civic pride into something players can wear on the ice. Flyers Roster Shuffle Just Created A New Question About Alex Bump
Bobby Brink is back in Philadelphia to face the Flyers, a return trip that naturally brings a little extra attention given his relationship with the fan base. It is the kind of game that invites a quick look around the roster, too, especially with the Flyers still managing a few moving parts as they try to settle into a rhythm early in the season.
One of those questions now centers on Alex Bump, who was sent to the Phantoms and could be back in the mix almost immediately. Rick Tocchet has left the door open for a quick recall, and the timing adds another layer to a roster that has already seen its share of shuffling, much like the ongoing goaltending rotation between Dan Vladar and Joseph Woll. For a team still sorting out roles, Bumps next step is worth watching closely. [Read more 🡒]
Flyers Have A Rare Chance To Add A Former First Round Center
A rare waiver opportunity has opened for a player the Flyers could actually use. Winnipeg put former first-round pick Brad Lambert on waivers, and for a Philadelphia team still looking for more help down the middle, he fits the profile of a low-risk add worth at least serious consideration. Lambert has yet to carve out a real NHL role, but his strong AHL season keeps the appeal alive for a club that can afford to take a swing on upside.
For the Flyers, the question is whether this is the kind of center bet worth making now. Lambert brings pedigree and some recent production in the minors, but the NHL results have not followed yet, which is exactly why he is available in the first place. If Philadelphia wants to keep exploring ways to deepen its center group, this is the sort of move that could cost little and still offer a meaningful payoff if the development clicks. [Read more 🡒]
