As for hockey, there’s plenty moving around the league - and one Flyers name is starting to surface in trade chatter.
According to NHLTradeRumors.me, Dave Pagnotta says the Flyers have had interest in Canadiens defenseman Arber Xhekaj for “years”. The RFA is still unsigned and could end up in trade discussions. Dave Litman floated a deal involving Xhekaj and Flyers defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen.

In Chicago, Patrick Kane is back. The Blackhawks brought him home on a 2-year deal worth $8 million annually, a move Jack Bushman says is an overpay for the Hawks, though it won’t affect their long-term plans.
Boston Hockey Now wrapped up Jack Studley’s ranking of the Bruins’ top prospects, finishing with his top 5. And in New Jersey, the Devils have a new general manager in Sunny Mehta, whose approach to the Utica Comets is described by Daniel Amoia as a refreshing one for the organization.
