NFL Media is adding two former players with very different résumés to its 2026 lineup.
Nelson Agholor and Cody Kessler will join the network as studio analysts, with both set to appear on NFL GameDay Preview during the season. The show streams Sundays at 11:30 a.m.
ET and also airs Mondays and Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. ET on NFL Channel.
Viewers can find it on major FAST platforms, NFL+, the NFL YouTube channel, and the NFL app.
Kessler’s role goes beyond the studio. He’ll also contribute to coverage of the league’s biggest events, including the Super Bowl, NFL Scouting Combine, and NFL Draft.
For Kessler, the move marks another step in a football career that started when the Browns took him in the third round in 2016. He was pushed right into action as a rookie, starting eight games and throwing for 1,380 yards with six touchdowns and two interceptions, though Cleveland lost all eight of those starts.
After two seasons, the Browns traded him to the Jaguars, where he made four starts in 2018. He later had brief stops with the Eagles and Patriots before moving away from football and into sports media.
Agholor brings a longer NFL run to the desk. The Eagles picked him in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft, and he spent his first five seasons in Philadelphia, helping the team win Super Bowl LII.
He went on to play for the Raiders, Patriots, and Ravens after that. Before the pros, he played at USC and earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors in 2014.
NFL Media is also bringing in content creator Pete Herzog, known as Film Watchers, for the 2026 season. Herzog will produce weekly film breakdowns with NFL Pro, and those breakdowns will be shared through NFL+ accounts on X and Instagram.
The additions give NFL Media a mix of perspectives from two former players with different paths through the league.
