Jalen Hurts Named to 2026 Pro Bowl, Joins Strong Eagles Contingent
The Philadelphia Eagles are sending another familiar face to the 2026 Pro Bowl Games - and this one’s a headliner.
Quarterback Jalen Hurts has officially been added to the Pro Bowl roster, replacing Rams veteran Matthew Stafford, who was eliminated in the NFC Championship Game by the Seattle Seahawks. For Hurts, it marks his third Pro Bowl selection in six NFL seasons, further solidifying his place among the top quarterbacks in Eagles history.
With this latest nod, Hurts now shares the second-most Pro Bowl appearances by an Eagles quarterback, tying franchise legends Randall Cunningham, Norm Van Brocklin, and Bobby Thomason. Only Donovan McNabb, with eight selections, has more.
While 2025 wasn’t Hurts’ most explosive season statistically, it was still a campaign that underscored his resilience and leadership. He threw for 3,224 yards, 25 touchdowns, and six interceptions.
On the ground, he added 421 rushing yards - a dip by his standards, and the lowest of his career as a full-time starter - but his impact went beyond the box score. Hurts remained the emotional and strategic engine of the Eagles’ offense, even as the team navigated significant changes throughout the year.
Hurts joins five other Eagles already named to this year’s Pro Bowl: rookie cornerbacks Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean, linebacker Zack Baun, defensive tackle Jalen Carter, and center Cam Jurgens. It's a strong showing that speaks to the depth and talent spread across the Eagles’ roster - and a sign that, even with some bumps along the way this season, the foundation in Philly remains solid.
The 2026 Pro Bowl Games will take place next Tuesday at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, just days before the Seahawks and Patriots square off in Super Bowl LX. For Hurts and his fellow Eagles, it’s a chance to showcase their skills on a national stage - and for fans, it’s another reminder of the elite talent the Eagles continue to develop and field year after year.
