The trade deadline is still a month away, but the offensive line market already has teams circling. Injuries and surprise retirements have pushed a handful of clubs into the same problem at the same time: they need help up front, and they need it now.
ESPN’s Dan Graziano pointed to four teams that could be in the hunt. “It's tough to swing trades for offensive linemen, since the demand massively outweighs the supply. But teams that could/should be in the market include the Patriots, Ravens, Eagles and, of course, the Packers, who have been signing dudes out of retirement the past couple of weeks because their line has completely fallen apart,” Graziano wrote.
Green Bay’s issues have been building since the season opened, and the impact has shown up in the way the offense has looked over the past few weeks. Baltimore and New England are also in need of help in that area, especially with key offensive players dealing with injuries.
Philadelphia may be in the most urgent spot of all. Landon Dickerson was placed on injured reserve a few weeks ago, and Lane Johnson just announced his retirement. After already rearranging the line in response to the Dickerson injury, the Eagles now have to do it again.
If any executive is known for pushing hard to get the player he wants, it’s Howie Roseman. The catch is the same one every team in this market faces: somebody has to actually become available. For now, there haven’t been any trade rumors around a specific lineman, but with the deadline getting closer, that figures to change.

Eagles Backfield Trouble Just Forced A Telling Move Before London
With Saquon Barkley and Tank Bigsby both dealing with injuries, the Eagles had little choice but to add another body to the backfield before heading to London. The team is elevating Dameon Pierce to the 53-man roster, a practical move that speaks to how thin the running back room has become as Philadelphia tries to stay on schedule heading into an overseas game.
Pierce brings a familiar profile as a former Texans runner who has flashed enough to be viewed as a useful depth option. For the Eagles, the question now is less about upside than availability, because the next stretch will test how much of the offense can be carried without two of its expected contributors in the backfield. Eagles Rainy Loss Sparked A Viral Moment Fans Didn't See
Rainy Sundays in Philadelphia can make even a routine sideline assignment feel like a test of endurance, and Erin Andrews gave fans a glimpse of just how messy it got during the Eagles-Rams game. The longtime broadcaster posted behind-the-scenes photos and video on Instagram showing her preparing to work through the wet conditions, offering a look at the kind of cleanup and constant adjustment that comes with covering an NFL game in a downpour.
The weather added another layer to a game that already turned sharply against Philadelphia, as the Rams rallied for a 24-20 win. Kyren Williams helped fuel the comeback, while Andrews post ended up becoming one of those viral reminders that the broadcast booth and sideline have their own battle when the rain starts falling. Nick Sirianni Just Reopened A Frustrating Eagles Offense Debate
Nick Sirianni didnt try to dress up the early-season uncertainty when talking about the Eagles offense, instead acknowledging that the group is still in the process of figuring out what it wants to be. With a new coaching staff, injuries and the usual September-to-October adjustments, Philadelphia has had to keep changing course on the fly, and Sirianni said the offense is being shaped around the strengths of the players who are available.
The broader issue is what that means for a team that opened 2-2 and has already dealt with key absences. Sirianni framed it as a league-wide reality, noting that plenty of teams are still searching for their identity this early, but the Eagles have their own pressure point as they try to settle on an approach that can hold up once the season starts tightening around them.
