The Eagles’ first 53-man roster came with a few notable twists, and the quarterback room was right at the center of them.
Philadelphia kept four quarterbacks, with Tanner McKee and Andy Dalton both surviving the cut to join Jalen Hurts and Cole Payton. That move helped define a roster that also saw both International Pathway Program players, Uar Bernard and Joshua Weru, fail to make the initial 53 and get cut.
The Eagles also passed on all three of their seventh-round picks.
Among the players who squeezed onto the roster, several were clearly hanging on at the edge. Micah Morris ended up as the last offensive lineman in.
Elijah Moore landed as the sixth wide receiver. Mac McWilliams made it as the sixth cornerback.
E.J. Jenkins secured the No. 4 tight end spot.
Rocco Underwood was the long snapper.
