The Cowboys have moved into the top spot in the NFC East betting picture, even if the division itself still looks like a mess.
At BetMGM, Dallas is listed as the favorite at +165, with the Eagles close behind at +175. The Giants sit at +325 and the Commanders at +800.
The book also has Dallas drawing the highest ticket percentage at 35.4 percent and the highest handle percentage at 48.7 percent. The Giants are the biggest liability.
Kalshi is showing a similar race, with the Cowboys carrying a 36% probability and the Eagles sitting at 34% as of publication.
The strange part is that the Giants are the ones currently sitting on top of the division at 3-1-1. They’re the only team in the NFC East with a winning record, but that comes with a few obvious asterisks: Jaxson Dart is out for the year, and every opponent they’ve faced has been below .500. That group includes the Cowboys, Rams, Cardinals, Commanders, and Titans.
Dallas, meanwhile, is 2-3. The Cowboys have beaten the Commanders and Texans, but they’ve also taken heavy losses lately to the Ravens and Buccaneers. Their defense has been a problem, and if Christian Parker can’t straighten it out, they’re looking at a losing season.
The Eagles probably should be sitting at 3-2, or at least that’s the sense here. Instead, they’ve dropped two games they had every chance to win while dealing with an injury report that looked like the guy from Monty Python and the Holy Grail who walks around town with the wagon saying “bring out your dead.” Philadelphia gets the 2-2 Panthers next, then enters a stretch of three straight against the Cowboys, Commanders, and Giants, with two of those games at Lincoln Financial Field.
By then, the division should have started to separate a little, and we’ll have a better read on who is actually going to win this wretched and miserable NFC East.

Eagles Backfield Injuries Just Put An Unknown RB In The Spotlight
The Eagles are shuffling the backfield again, and the latest move brings JaQuinden Jackson into the mix as the team tries to patch together depth at running back. Jackson, a former Arkansas standout who also spent time with the Jaguars, is joining Philadelphias practice squad with the hope that he can help stabilize an offense suddenly dealing with injuries at the position.
The timing matters because the Eagles have already been forced to adjust after setbacks to Saquon Barkley, Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley. For a player still waiting for his first NFL action, this is the kind of opening that can turn a practice-squad call-up into something bigger quickly, especially with the season moving into a stretch where every healthy body counts. Eagles Fans May Not Like Why Hurts Keeps Running Less
Jalen Hurts has been running less in the early part of the 2026 season, and for Eagles fans who have grown used to the quarterback being a major part of the ground game, it has been noticeable. Through five games, Hurts has 23 carries for 107 yards, while Philadelphias offense as a whole is putting up fewer rushing yards per game than it did a year ago, a shift that has changed the feel of an attack built in part on Hurts legs.
Offensive coordinator Sean Mannion said the team is still trying to keep the offense balanced between run and pass, but the way Hurts is used in the run game depends on the opponent and the game situation. The bigger question for Philadelphia is whether this is a temporary adjustment or the new normal, because the Eagles have clearly been willing to lean away from one of their most familiar edges when the weekly plan calls for it. Big Dom Just Created An Unusual Eagles Debate Off The Field
Dom DiSandro has spent nearly three decades around the Eagles as one of the most visible behind-the-scenes figures in the organization, handling security and game-day operations while also serving as a trusted adviser to the general manager. For most of that time, his political views were kept private, even as he became a familiar presence in Philadelphia football circles.
Recently, though, DiSandro stepped into a different spotlight when he took part in a public political gathering in the city and spoke with optimism about the Eagles future. The appearance, which placed him alongside prominent civic and party figures, added an unusual off-field wrinkle to a franchise that usually prefers its headlines to come from the sideline rather than the stage.
