While Cooper DeJean was getting ready for the Philadelphia Eagles’ Week 2 trip to face the Tennessee Titans, Abby Summers was handling her own game-day assignment at AT&T Stadium.
Summers is set to cheer for the Dallas Cowboys when they host the Washington Commanders, and she marked the occasion on Sunday with an Instagram post alongside her squad. In the photos, she stood second from the left, with Parker Kilpatrick and Emily Awbrey beside her.
She kept the caption short and fired up for her second game of the 2026 regular season:
“G2 TAKES ON GAME 2.”
The post drew quick reactions from teammates Ariel Brumfield, Sophia Laufer, Julissa Garcia and Darah Haidet. Laufer praised the group with, “MY FAVOURITE GIRLS,” while Brumfield added, “Ayeee great minds think alike,” Garcia wrote, “SLAYYYY,” and Haidet chimed in with, “Gorgeous girlsss”
Summers has been part of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders since July 2024. Her rookie year brought plenty of attention, including a spot in Netflix’s “America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders” docuseries. When she announced the start of her journey on July 23, 2024, she wrote:
“So proud to share that I am a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader! It’s been an incredible journey, and I couldn’t have done it without the amazing people I’ve met along the way,”
DeJean and Summers have been together since early 2025, and questions about whether the relationship could spill into football have followed them around. DeJean addressed that directly on the “Exciting Mics” podcast, saying:
"I mean, it's not like we both play football. She's a cheerleader. There is going to be no insider information given either way,”
Summers has also been careful about her physical health as a cheerleader, particularly when it comes to her skin. She previously said she went through a serious cosmetic procedure to address skin problems.
