Nikki Bella says dating is not exactly on her calendar right now.
Ahead of SummerSlam, the WWE star told Us Weekly that her love life has been put on hold while she juggles a packed schedule. “I’m pretty much like a nun at this point.
Super celibate. I should just put on a ring,” she told US Weekly.
“I wish I was out there getting wild. I just don’t have energy for it.”
That lack of energy makes sense when you look at everything she’s balancing. Bella returned to WWE this year after unretiring, and she also keeps busy with a wine company and podcast alongside her twin sister, Brie. On top of that, she is a single mom to five-year-old Matteo.
She shares custody of her son with ex-husband Artem Chigvintsev. The two were married for about two years before separating in August 2024 after his domestic violence arrest. Prosecutors did not pursue charges, and the divorce was settled later that fall.
Bella was most recently linked to Philadelphia Eagles defensive back Cooper DeJean. The two went on dates earlier this year after reports first surfaced in January, but they have not been spotted together for months.
Brie Bella has been trying to nudge her sister back into the dating world, though she understands why Nikki keeps turning it down. “She’s too busy, and I get it,” Brie said.
“Matteo is her world right now. She’s like, ‘I have no time between being on the road, our wine company and our podcast, and then Matteo.
I try. But she’s like, ‘No, no.’
This is the thing with her: If she has a free night, she wants to Netflix and chill. She’s like, ‘I don’t want to go on a date.
I don’t have to dress up.’”
For now, Bella’s focus is elsewhere. She’s set to team with Brie and Paige this weekend at SummerSlam in a six-woman tag match against Fatal Influence. With wrestling, business and motherhood all demanding attention, romance is clearly taking a back seat.
