“Brown is an immediate upgrade and he's still young [turning 29 in June]. And the Eagles can build the passing game around DeVonta Smith and a high draft pick.”
It’s a win-win scenario on paper. Brown gives Allen a dynamic, physical target who can dominate at all three levels of the field. And for Philadelphia, it’s a chance to retool around Smith and potentially land a high draft asset in return.
Could Tennessee Come Calling?
Don’t count out a reunion in Nashville, either. With a new regime in place, the Tennessee Titans are another team to watch. Robert Saleh has taken over as head coach, and with rookie quarterback Cam Ward heading into his second year, the Titans are in desperate need of playmakers.
Brown, of course, began his career in Tennessee and was a fan favorite before being traded to Philadelphia. Now, with one of the league’s least productive offenses, the Titans could be motivated to bring him back - especially if they believe Ward is the future and needs a true WR1 to grow alongside.
The pairing makes sense. Saleh brings a culture shift, and Brown would instantly become the focal point of a rebuilding offense. The Titans have the cap space, the need, and the familiarity - it’s a fit that shouldn’t be overlooked.
