If Philon plays, he’ll be tested by an Orlando group that has leaned on players with NBA or G League experience this summer, including Colin Castleton, Lester Quinones and TyTy Washington. The Magic have already shown they can grind out results, even if the scoring hasn’t always been there. They’ve topped 100 points once in three games, while also posting a 74-point game earlier this summer.
Philadelphia has had a couple of big offensive nights too, reaching 100 points twice, but Tuesday’s 64-point showing against Houston is a warning sign on a back-to-back. Orlando’s own scoring profile points in the same direction, which is why the total in the mid-180s feels a little high for this kind of game.
