Drew Allar Stuns Scouts at Penn State Pro Day Event

Scouts gathered at Penn State's Pro Day to evaluate top talent like Drew Allar and Vega Ioane ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft, with notable performances and appearances fueling the event's excitement.

Penn State's Pro Day in Holuba Hall was the place to be as NFL scouts flocked to Happy Valley to evaluate nearly 20 Nittany Lions gearing up for the 2026 NFL Draft. The spotlight was firmly on quarterback Drew Allar, who showcased his arm in an extensive throwing session. Allar is on the comeback trail after an injury cut his senior season short, and scouts were keen to see his progress.

Offensive lineman Vega Ioane, projected as a first-round pick, participated in drills but opted out of testing, mirroring the approach of defensive end Dani Dennis-Sutton, defensive lineman Zane Durant, and running back Kaytron Allen. Meanwhile, running back Nick Singleton was present but stayed off the field as he recovers from a broken foot sustained during Senior Bowl preparations.

Several Lions did hit the field, including safety Zakee Wheatley and a group of wide receivers, eager to make their mark. The event also saw familiar faces return, with former Nittany Lions like Olu Fashanu and Sean Clifford (cheering on his brother Liam) lending their support.

New head coach Matt Campbell and his staff were in attendance, as were numerous current players, soaking in the atmosphere and supporting their teammates. This Pro Day was not just a showcase of talent but a testament to the strong community and camaraderie that defines Penn State football.
