Magic Stuns Fans by Signing G League Star Alex Morales

The Orlando Magic enhance their roster by signing rising G League star Alex Morales, signaling a strategic move post All-Star break.

The Orlando Magic are making moves post-All-Star break, adding a fresh face to their roster. Alex Morales, a standout in the G League, has been signed to a two-way contract, bringing his scoring prowess to the NBA stage.

Morales has been turning heads with the Osceola Magic, where he's been lighting up the court with averages of 19.2 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game. His shooting touch has been impressive, boasting a 52.8% field goal percentage and hitting 41.3% from beyond the arc. This hot streak has earned him a well-deserved shot with the Orlando Magic.

Despite going undrafted, Morales has carved out a solid career in the G League, playing in 112 games and consistently delivering strong performances. His journey began at Wagner College, where he was a two-time Northeast Conference Player of the Year, showcasing his ability to make an impact on both ends of the floor.

To make room for Morales, the Magic have waived center Orlando Robinson. Robinson, who joined the team on a two-way contract last offseason, saw limited action with the Magic, appearing in four games.

As Morales steps onto the NBA stage, fans will be eager to see how his G League success translates to the next level. With his scoring ability and defensive skills, he could be a valuable addition to the Magic's lineup.
