The Orlando Magic are adding a new streaming lane for fans this season, and the big name is DAZN.
After rolling out over-the-air broadcast partners across Central, West and North Florida in recent days and weeks, the team announced Thursday morning that DAZN will be its exclusive direct-to-consumer streaming partner in the region for the 2026-27 NBA season.
The setup gives local fans a clear path to watch. In the Magic’s local market, all regular-season games except national TV exclusives will stream on DAZN. For fans outside the team’s local market - including anyone outside Florida - those same games, again excluding national TV exclusives, will be available on NBA League Pass.
The Magic had already lined up a group of TV outlets for most regular-season games, including WRDQ-TV 27 and WFTV-Channel 9 in Orlando, WMOR-TV in Tampa, WTGB 34.3 in Gainesville, WJHG 7.6 in Panama City and WCTV 6.3 in Tallahassee.
“We are excited to partner with DAZN to serve as our direct-to-consumer streaming partner for live games, replays, pregame and postgame coverage, and original programming,” Magic president of business operations Charlie Freeman said in a statement. “Coupled with the Cox Media Group (WRDQ TV 27, WFTV Channel 9), DAZN will provide Magic fans tremendous access to the team.”
DAZN’s Magic-branded streaming service is set to go live later this month, with live games, alternative feeds and original content included. The team said the Orlando Magic-focused subscription will be sold as a standalone option and also as an add-on for current DAZN subscribers.
Pricing starts with a free seven-day trial. After that, fans can choose between a monthly pass at $19.99 or a season pass at $119.99, according to the team. Magic season-ticket holders will get 20% off season pass subscriptions, and the team said more discounts and promotions will roll out during the year.
DAZN is also offering season pass ultimate and monthly pass ultimate plans, priced at $139.99 per season and $24.99 per month. Those plans include access to all locally broadcast Magic games, a one-time 20% discount to OrlandoMagicShop.com, and - according to the team - more concurrent streams and IP addresses per account, plus alternate feeds, camera angles and multi-view during broadcasts.
The Magic’s national TV slate currently stands at eight games: Nov. 16 at Boston on NBCSN, Dec. 14 vs. Philadelphia on NBCSN, March 10 at Miami on ESPN, March 13 at Atlanta on Prime Video, March 22 vs.
Indiana on NBCSN, March 28 vs. New York on ESPN, March 30 vs.
New York on NBC and April 5 vs. Miami on NBCSN.
