Orlando Magic fans in Tampa will have a clear TV home for the 2026-27 season.
The team announced Tuesday that it has partnered with WMOR-TV, a Hearst Television-owned station, to carry Magic games for Tampa viewers. Under the deal, all regular season games except national exclusives will air over the air on WMOR-TV Channel 32.
“We are excited to partner with WMOR-TV and Hearst to bring Magic basketball to our Tampa fans,” Orlando Magic president of business operations Charlie Freeman said in a statement. “WMOR-TV will provide Magic fans a direct connection to the team all season long.”
The agreement builds on an existing relationship. WMOR-TV previously aired 10 Magic games during the 2025-26 season.
“We’re thrilled to grow our relationship with the Magic and to expand accessibility to Magic basketball across Central Florida,” WMOR-TV president and general manager John Soapes said in a statement. “This partnership reflects a shared commitment to delivering high-quality local sports programming and creating new opportunities for fans to connect with their team.”
The Tampa deal comes on the heels of another local broadcast announcement. Last month, the Magic said they had reached an agreement with Cox Media Group that will put games on WRDQ-TV 27 and WFTV-Channel 9 in Orlando for the upcoming season.
WMOR-TV reaches the Tampa-St. Petersburg market, which the team identified as the country’s 11th largest television market. For fans elsewhere in Florida, the Magic said a full station lineup and broadcast schedule will be announced later.
The team also said it will name a direct-to-consumer streaming partner in the near future.
